Football: Times’ all-star package in Sunday’s paper

For those who were wondering, The Times’ all-star football package is running in Sunday’s paper. Servite, which defeated Rocklin in the CIF state championship Division II bowl game, is the No. 1 team in the final rankings and Friars quarterback Cody Fajardo is the Glenn Davis Award winner as the top player in Southern California.

Notre Dame-bound defensive lineman Justin Utupo of Lakewood is the lineman of the year and the multi-talented Robert Woods of Gardena Serra is the back of the year. Westlake’s Jim Benkert, who guided the Warriors to an undefeated season a year ahead of schedule, is the coach of the year.
