Tom Mott, the basketball coach at Santa Maria St. Joseph, is headed to Africa this spring for the third year in a row and will be taking 12 to 15 high school players with him to play basketball and tour South Africa as part of the 1 Dream Foundation.

The trip departs from Los Angeles to Hong Kong on March 31 and returns on April 10. The cost is $4,000. There are still a few spots left for players and coaches. The trip includes putting on clinics, playing local teams, going on a safari and touring for 10 days.
