Boys’ basketball: Lutheran 42, Centennial 30

Orange Lutheran has opened up a 42-30 lead over host Centennial in a quarterfinal game of the Southern California Regional Division III playoffs.

The Lancers outscored Centennial 20-11 in the second quarter. Gabe York has 16 points, including four three-pointers, and Tyler Funk has 8 points and Dylan Rice has 6 so far for Orange Lutheran.

Deonte Burton has 12 points and Kevin Smith has 8 for the Apaches.
