On Monday, Chatsworth’s Aaron Brown was ejected for a hard slide into second base during a tournament game in Las Vegas. On Tuesday, he watched in street clothes. On Wednesday, he got his revenge, striking out 13 and throwing a two-hitter in the Chancellors’ 3-0 victory over Legacy of Nevada.

Chatsworth (10-3) was scheduled to play Wednesday night in the championship game of its tournament bracket. Steve Karkenny had two hits to support Brown.

Brown, a junior left-hander, is considered Chatsworth’s No. 1 pitcher and will next start when Chatsworth opens West Valley League play next week against Birmingham.
