First baseman Derek Neely, the top returning hitter for defending City Section champion Chatsworth, is sidelined indefinitely with a hand injury.

Neely was hit by a pitch recently and tried to swing at a pitch Monday in Las Vegas but had to leave the game. He’s expected to see a doctor when the Chancellors (7-3) return from Las Vegas this week. Chatsworth is 3-0 in the tournament.
