Boys’ basketball: Polee is coaches’ pick for player of the year

The City Section coaches have finally come out with their All-City boys’ basketball team, and Dwayne Polee Jr. of Westchester was named the player of the year. The coaches selected four Westchester players as first-team All-City besides Polee _ Jordin Mayes, Denzel Douglas, Reggie Murphy and Kareem Jamar.

There were 16 first-team selections. A sportswriters’ All-City team had 12 first-team players.
