Football: Mater Dei transfer wins appeal

Linebacker Todd Hunt, who transferred to Santa Ana Mater Dei from Connecticut, has been declared eligible after winning his appeal before a CIF State appeals panel, according to OCvarsity.com.

The decision comes after Mater Dei filed a civil suit against the Southern Section, charging bias.
