Just when it seemed like Carson had figured out Taft’s offense, the Toreadors put together a string of big plays to pull within 14-7 on Kenny Thompson’s 11-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter.

Toreadors quarterback Michael Bercovici, who got off to a slow start, completed all four passes he threw on the touchdown drive for 58 yards.

Now the fog is rolling in at Carson, giving the game an eerie Halloween feel in early December.
