Track and field: No record for Agoura’s Jonathan Cabral in boys’ 110 hurdles

Jonathan Cabral defended his state title in the boys’ 110 hurdles but was unable to set a record, winning in 13.79 seconds Saturday during the state track meet at Clovis Buchanan High.

Cabral ran the event in 13.58 during the preliminaries and had posted a 13.43 earlier this season that was the fastest in the nation.

Indio’s Kiethyon Moten was second in 14.46.
