Mission Viejo’s defense is making life tough for Long Beach Poly.

Long Beach Poly’s Randall Goforth returned an interception off Alex Bridgford 50 yards to Mission Viejo 10, but the Jackrabbits failed to punch it in after Garrett Marino sacked Chaiyse Hales on third and goal from the 3. Then, Max Redfield blocked a 27-yard field goal attempt by Long Beach Poly’s Hayden Hunt.

Long Beach Poly’s defense has looked sharped, but the Jackrabbits need some scoring if they’re going to avenge last year’s loss.
