Football: Orange Lutheran leads Mater Dei, 13-0

Orange Lutheran quarterback Conner Sullivan connected on a 30-yard touchdown pass to Christo Kourtzidis to give Orange Lutheran a 13-0 lead with 3:34 left in the first half.

The Lancers wanted to go for two points afterwards, but they were called for back-to-back delay of game penalties -- much to the chagrin of Orange Lutheran Coach Jim Kunau. They managed to make the extra point from 32 yards out.

Mater Dei quarterback Ryan McMahon threw interceptions on the Monarchs’ first two possessions, and was unable to get the Monarchs into the end zone after London Iakopo returned an interception 57 yards to the Orange Lutheran 38.
