Making the most of a busted play, Servite quarterback Cody Pittman connected with a wide-open Ainslie Johnson on a 30-yard touchdown pass to give the Friars a 7-0 lead over St. John Bosco early in the first quarter of their Trinity League showdown.

Pittman rushed for 41 yards in three carries on the drive, and the Braves’ defense is going to have to figure out how to stop him to stay in the game.
