Singles by Chris DeVito, Ricky Obando and Kiefer Kofman enabled Chatsworth to score a run in the bottom of the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Hayden Tsutsui to take a 2-0 lead over San Fernando in the City Section Division I semifinal at USC.

San Fernando’s frustration is growing against Kofman, who has allowed runners on base in every inning but succeeded in escaping jams.

Update: Chatsworth pulled pitcher Kiefer Kofman in the top of the fifth with one out after two runners reached base. Nick Milone came in and walked one batter to load the bases before he struck out Carlos Robles and got a ground out to end the threat. After five innings, Chatsworth leads, 2-0.
