Baseball: Local team advances to Palomino World Series

The Arroyo Saints have advanced to the Palomino World Series that begin on Thursday at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton.

Aaron Milam, the head coach at St. Francis, is coaching the team.

Among the players are former Alemany players Cody Thompson and Corey Sims, former Crescenta Valley players Elliot Surrey and Troy Mulcahey, Chatsworth’s Chris DeVito and Riley Conlan and former Temple City players Calvin and Corey Copping.
