Cause She’s A Lady Wins Feature at Santa Anita

Cause She’s A Lady sprinted to the lead from the gate and drew off to a convincing victory Friday in the $30,000 feature race for older fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Patrick Valenzuela, Cause She’s A Lady finished seven lengths in front of Pocasset, ridden by Joe Steiner. Golden Screen, ridden by Sandy Hawley, finished third, another three-quarters of a length back.
Covering 1 1-16 miles in 1.42 4-5 over a fast main track, Cause She’s A Lady defeated five rivals and earned $16,500.
Sent off the 2-1 favorite, Cause She’s A Lady paid $6, $4 and $3.20.
