Odyssey I Club Faces License Hearing
An examiner for the Los Angeles Police Commission will hold a hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday on possible revocation of dance and pool hall permits for the Odyssey I dance club.
The hearing will be at Rosewood Avenue School, 503 N. Croft Ave.
Neighbors have complained about excessive noise and trash around the club at 8471 Beverly Blvd. The commission voted last year to revoke the permits if the situation did not improve.
The examiner is expected to rule on the permits following a second hearing Jan. 16 at the same time and location.
In a separate matter, club owners will face the City Council on Tuesday to ask for a permit to sell alcohol.
