TRW Corp. said it bought Pressure Systems Inc.

Pressure Systems, a privately held firm that had 1983 revenue of $9.8 million, is expected to broaden TRW’s capability for producing space hardware, specifically titanium pressure vessels used in ballistic missiles, spacecraft and submarines. The City of Commerce based-firm is expected to grow 15% annually, about the same rate as the entire civilian and military space market, TRW said.
