Reagans Buy Truck as Joint Christmas Gift

WASHINGTON —
President and Mrs. Reagan have purchased their Christmas gift to each other--a four-wheel-drive pickup truck for their mountaintop ranch near Santa Barbara, Calif., a spokesman said Tuesday
The Reagans purchased the Ford Ranger truck in the Los Angeles area and paid the full price, about $10,000, the spokesman said. The Reagans had one of their close friends in the area make the selection.
