Coelco Ltd.

Coelco Ltd., a Fountain Valley-based diversified company, Wednesday reported a return to profitability and a 53% increase in sales for the second quarter of fiscal 1985 .

The company posted unaudited earnings of $30,462 for the quarter ended Nov. 30, compared to a loss of $13,365 for the second quarter of fiscal 1984. Revenue was $2.9 million compared to $1.9 million in the same period the year before.

The second-quarter results bring the company’s earnings for the first six months of fiscal 1985 to $75,830, or 2 1/2 times earnings of $29,712 for the first half of fiscal 1984.

Diceon Electronics

Diceon Electronics Inc. Wednesday reported a 22% increase in earnings on a 26% increase in sales for the first quarter of fiscal 1985.

The Irvine-based computer circuit board manufacturer posted unaudited earnings of $1.4 million for the quarter, which ended Dec. 29, up from $1.1 million for the same period a year ago. Sales increased to $13.7 million compared to $10.9 million a year ago.
