Local News in Brief : $2,500 Reward Offered in Arson at School

The Los Angeles City School Board offered a $2,500 reward Monday for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for a Dec. 9 fire that caused $70,000 damage to two bungalows at Telfair Avenue Elementary School in Pacoima.
The fire was the sixth incident of vandalism at the school in four months. School district officials said they would keep confidential the identity of persons providing information on the case, which is being handled by the Foothill Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
