A badly decomposed body was found buried in a shallow grave in an avocado grove near Valley Center on Wednesday morning, sheriff’s deputies reported. The unidentified body was found by a worker with the Fallbrook Venture Avocado Grove Co. about 70 yards east of Double Canyon Road and two miles south of Couser Canyon Road, deputies said. Sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating and an autopsy was pending.
