Harvard Beats El Segundo With 2 First-Half Goals

Harvard High scored on two first-half goals and goalie Chris Johnson recorded his third shutout of the season as the Saracens defeated visiting El Segundo, 2-0, to stay tied for second place with Miraleste in the Pioneer League.

Steve Spencer scored the first goal 10 minutes into the first half and Tito Sandifer added the final goal 19 minutes later. Harvard had nine shots on goal while El Segundo could manage only three shots.

The win improves the Saracens league record to 2-1, 3-7 overall.
