The legs of an elderly woman were nearly severed by an RTD bus that knocked her down and ran over her near a downtown bus yard, officials said. The 70-year-old woman, who carried no identification, was in critical condition at County-USC Medical Center, Fire Department spokesman Larry Ford said.
