A fire that apparently was deliberately set early Sunday gutted a North Park house used for offices, a San Diego Fire Department spokesman said. Larry Stewart said the blaze caused an estimated $150,000 in damages to the two-story wooden structure at 3544 30th St. Stewart said firefighters were called to the scene just before 6:30 a.m. He said 20 firefighters brought the blaze under control within 20 minutes, but not before flames had spread rapidly from the first to the second floor of the old building. The Metro Arson Strike Team has determined the cause of the fire to be arson. Its investigation is continuing.
