Chapman Women Defeat USIU, 66-57

Chapman College defeated USIU, 66-57, in a nonconference women’s basketball game at Chapman Wednesday night. Delisa Carter led all scorers with 19 points and teammates Leone Patterson and Susan Bergendahl added 14 and 10 points, respectively.

USIU (9-13) was led by Toya Decree’s 14 points. With her 19 points, Carter moved into fifth place on Chapman’s all-time career scoring list with 690 total points.

Chapman (20-2) plays at Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday.
