Cosmos Defeated by Lazers at Forum, 7-3

Juan Cardenas scored four goals Saturday night, helping the Los Angeles Lazers score a 7-3 victory over the New York Cosmos in a Major Indoor Soccer League game at the Forum.

Los Angeles improved to its record to 17-12 before 8,679 fans--the team’s largest crowd of the season. New York, which got goals from three different players, dropped to 9-20.
