Long Beach Women Pound UCLA, 96-70
Guards Jackie White and Roslind Boger each scored 20 points Wednesday night to lead Cal State Long Beach to a 96-70 rout of UCLA in a Western Collegiate Athletic Assn. game at Pauley Pavilion.
Long Beach, ranked No. 2 in the nation, raised its record to 19-1 overall and 9-0 in the WCAA. UCLA is 13-9 and 4-4.
UCLA guard Ann Dean led all scorers with 25 points.
