Cybill Shepherd will star in “Moonlighting,” a new detective series that will replace “Call to Glory” on ABC.

“Moonlighting” will debut with a two-hour episode March 3, then will move into its regular time slot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on March 5, the network said. “Call to Glory” had its last telecast this week, although a special two-hour episode will be presented as a movie special in April.

Shepherd, who starred in the series “The Yellow Rose” for NBC last season, will play a famous, wealthy model who, for tax purposes, owns a money-losing detective agency. After being embezzled, she attempts to sell the company but winds up going to work for it instead with an irreverent private eye, played by Bruce Willis.
