Delta Air Lines ordered four Boeing 767-300s.

The Atlanta-based carrier will pay about $260 million for the planes, Seattle-based Boeing said. That will bring to nine the total number of 767-300s in Delta’s fleet. The 255-seat 767-300 offers 23% more passenger space and 30% more cargo volume than the 767-200. Delta’s order is scheduled for delivery in March and November, 1987.
