A human jawbone found Jan. 3 by two 10-year-old boys playing in the Laurel Canyon area of Hollywood was identified through state Department of Justice dental records as that of Larry Hunt, 39, a West Hollywood laborer whose roommate had reported him missing last May 11. Hollywood homicide Detective Jim Bosse said police had no idea how Hunt died.
