William and Mary Jane Fleury, the Mount Helix couple who hosted sex parties and believe in “acting out fantasies,” pleaded innocent Wednesday to charges that they engaged in illegal sexual activity with William Fleury’s 14-year-old daughter. The pair appeared before San Diego Municipal Court Judge Laura Palmer Hammes and received court-appointed attorneys. Bail was set at $15,000 for William Fleury, 43, and $5,000 for his wife, 49. The alleged victim, who was removed from the couple’s custody, is Fleury’s daughter by an earlier marriage. Mrs. Fleury’s trial is scheduled to start April 3 in El Cajon Municipal Court. Fleury will return to San Diego Municipal Court March 19 for a preliminary hearing. He is charged with multiple felony counts of oral copulation with a minor under 16, unlawful intercourse with a minor, incest and several misdemeanor counts of child molestation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Mrs. Fleury is charged with several misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child molestation. The Fleurys were forced to move out of their rented Mount Helix home in December after angry neighbors objected to the couple’s sex parties. The weekly gatherings frequently attracted as many as 25 couples.
