Mayor Roger Hedgecock announced the formation Friday of a 14-member Neighborhood Advisory Committee. Each of the members is to identify local needs and bring them to the attention of the mayor’s office. The group will not displace any existing planning or district advisory group, the new group’s chairman, Eugene McElroy, said.
