Campagna Gives Aztecs 8-7 Win in Ninth
SAN DIEGO —
Catcher David Campagna lined a two-out single in the bottom of the ninth inning to drive in Jim Plum with the winning run in San Diego State’s 8-7 win over Oklahoma City on Sunday afternoon at Smith Field.
First baseman Mark Grace had a single, double and triple and drove in four runs to pace the Aztecs (16-7). Oklahoma City is 5-11. The teams play a doubleheader at Smith Field today at 5 p.m.
