The 1984-85 orange harvest is expected to yield 159.65 million boxes, down less than 1% from the February forecast and just under 6% less than last season, the Agriculture Department reported. This year’s Florida crop was projected at 104 million boxes, unchanged from last month’s estimate but 11% less than 1983-84’s 116.7 million boxes. California’s orange crop was projected at 53 million boxes, down 2% from the February figure but still 10% more than last season.
