Man Hit by Woman in Death Leap Sues Estate

NEW YORK —
A man has filed a $20-million suit against the estate of a woman who landed on him in a suicide leap from the window of her 19th-floor apartment.
Jay Shaheri, 34, said he was “violently struck by Mildred T. Walker” while he was on the sidewalk on Feb. 13. Walker jumped “without regard for human safety” and he suffered “severe and serious neurological and psychological injuries,” Shaheri said in his suit, which was filed Monday.
