Earthquake Jolts Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. —
An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale shook western Oregon shortly before noon Wednesday, geologists said. There were no reports of injuries or damage. The temblor was centered in the Pacific Ocean about 140 miles offshore.
