A man sought by San Diego police in the November shooting of a San Carlos woman was arrested Friday in Los Angeles. Charles Fremont McDonald, 44, was pulled over by Los Angeles police Friday morning in the city’s Bel Air section after he committed a traffic violation. A police check of McDonald’s 1973 Fiat revealed a warrant for his arrest on murder charges in the shooting death of Helen Muro, 39. Occupants of Muro’s house found her dead Nov. 13, a day after she reportedly argued with McDonald. After he was turned over to San Diego police Friday afternoon, McDonald was booked into San Diego County Jail on suspicion of murder.
