8 Jailed for Converting

KATMANDU, Nepal — Eight men have been sentenced to six-month prison terms after being convicted of converting from Hinduism to Christianity in this Hindu kingdom. The eight men told Judge Parashuram Jha that their ancestors were Hindus, “but we believe in Jesus Christ.”
