Men in Van May Have Stabbed Each Other

Two men found fatally stabbed Thursday morning in a van probably killed each other in a dispute, police said Friday.
David Hernandez, 33, of Azusa died at Holy Cross Hospital after the van he was driving crashed into a car parked in the driveway of a Mission Hills home, police said. Police found a man tentatively identified as Luis Rodriguez, 24, of Fresno dead in the back of the van.
Detective Jim Vojtecky said both men died of multiple stab wounds. He said police have recovered two weapons, which he declined to identify. Detectives have no reason to believe that anyone else was involved, he said.
Vojtecky described the men as “associates,” but would not elaborate.
