Designers International acquired the license rights for products sold under the Pierre Cardin and Cherokee Industries labels through a stock purchase of Beta Handbag Corp. of Hialeah, Fla. Designer International, a publicly held company, recently bought exclusive rights to products sold under the Don Loper label.
