Design for University Building is Approved
Schematic designs for a new, three-story, 64,000-square-foot-classroom / faculty office / student services building at San Diego State University have been completed by Hope Consulting Group of San Diego and approved by California State University trustees.
The building, behind the Old Laboratory School, will contain a large Classroom on each side of an Arched entry portal; the remainder of the structure will contain student services, faculty offices and the Department of Public Safety. Construction, estimated to cost $6.5 million, is expected to begin in February, 1986.
