The City Council has approved a contract with Hermosa Beach to share the expense of a commuter bus into El Segundo.
The shuttle route will begin at the Hermosa Beach southern boundary of Herondo Street and travel north on Hermosa Avenue, continue through Manhattan Beach on Highland Avenue, turn east on Rosecrans Avenue and loop through the employment center on Sepulveda and El Segundo boulevards.
Hermosa Beach is scheduled to approve its half of the agreement at a City Council meeting next Tuesday.
