A Greyhound bus driver was stabbed in the chest by a passenger, but managed to stop the bus safely and shove his attacker outside, San Diego County sheriff’s deputies said. The passenger, identified as Leroy Reaves, 62, of Cleveland, reportedly demanded his luggage as the bus rolled along California 76 en route from San Bernardino to San Diego, but was told by driver Brian Posytan, 38, of San Diego, that he would have to wait for the next stop. Reaves allegedly asked again, then attacked Posytan with a knife. The driver pulled over, shoved Reaves outside and closed the door on him, deputies said. Reaves reportedly then smashed the front window with a rock. Officers arrived and arrested him. Posytan was taken by ambulance to Tri-City Hospital in nearby Oceanside where he was said to be in stable condition.
