County public health officials lifted the quarantine Friday from the northwestern corner of Mission Bay, otherwise known as Sail Bay, said Georgia P. Reaser, acting public health director.
That section of the bay had been closed to the public since April 3, when a massive sewage leak in Pacific Beach contaminated the water.
The leak has been repaired, and recent test results indicated the bay was clear of harmful bacteria, Reaser said.
