The new Municipal Court administrator-clerk of the North County Judicial District is Patricia M. Johns, the assistant administrator of the San Diego Municipal Court.
Presiding Municipal Court Judge Victor E. Ramirez said Johns was selected from 75 applicants, and will be paid $51,084 a year to oversee 100 court employees.
Johns succeeds Bill Hartford, who left the post in January during a district attorney’s criminal investigation that resulted in his indictment on felony charges of embezzlement.
Johns, who has worked in the San Diego Municipal Courts for 20 years, was named in January as the acting courts administrator.
