Norman Katz, 42, has been named president of MCS Associates, a financial consulting firm based in Newport Beach. Katz was a founding partner of the company in 1973.
Barbara B. Kamm, 33, has been named senior vice president and banking center administrator of Marine National Bank in Irvine. Kamm, who has been with Marine National since 1981, had been the managing director of the bank’s Metro Business Banking Center in Santa Ana. Marine National Bank also announced the appointment of W. Bruce Barley, 40, as senior vice president and managing director of the Metro Business Banking Center. Barley had previously been with First Interstate Bank for 16 years.
Kathy E. Gibson, 41, was named vice president and branch manager of Newport Balboa Savings and Loan. Before joining the bank in 1981, Gibson had been a vice president at Long Beach Savings and Loan.
Paul E. Prichard, 49, was named senior vice president of Fullerton-based Pioneer Bank. Prichard was formerly regional vice president of Republic Bank. Pioneer also named Charles P. Bowen, 40, formerly of Orange City Bank, as vice president in charge of commercial loan operations in its branch offices.
