Share

City offices will be moved to temporary quarters for about six months starting June 7 while a $1.5-million renovation begins at City Hall.

The new quarters will be at the former Meller School site at 9115 E. Balfour St. Beginning June 10, the City Council and commissions and boards will meet at the Little Theatre on the El Rancho High School campus at 6501 S. Passons Blvd., next door to City Hall.

Remodeling of the 22-year-old City Hall is expected to ease overcrowding, improve access to offices and create more efficient work areas for the 140-member city staff.
