Police Chases
There is a procedure followed by the police that really baffles me. It is the practice of high-speed pursuit of suspected stolen vehicles.
I do not think it is worth the high risk involved just to recover a car. The chase often ends in a crash with innocent people in other cars being injured or killed, and the car being destroyed.
I urge the Los Angeles Police Commission to look into this practice and initiate a safer more reasonable procedure for officers to follow.
