Paper work to allow four women prisoners to move to facilities where they can live with their babies must be expedited, Sacramento County Superior Court Judge James T. Ford ruled. Three of the women are expecting their babies next month. The fourth, Arlisa Gloster, who is in the California Institution for Women in Frontera, gave birth to a daughter last Friday. Ellen Barry, director of Legal Services for Prisoners with Children, said that Gloster and her new daughter already had been separated for more than two days.
