Intruder Slain: A 17-year-old intruder was shot and killed early Saturday when he was confronted by a Westminster man who discovered the teen-ager inside his home, police said. The homeowner, whom police declined to identify, was sleeping in his house on Bevan Street when he woke up to a noise at about 4:30 p.m. and confronted the young man, according to police Sgt. Steve Martinez. Investigators would not disclose details of the shooting, nor would they identify the victim, except to say he also lived in Westminster. The homeowner was not arrested.
